Medicaid Service Coordination is offered to Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals with developmental disabilities. Services are available for individuals of all ages as long as they live within the five boroughs.
A Medicaid Service Coordinator (MSC) helps link Deaf people with developmental disabilities and their families to the services and supports they want and need. In addition, they provide advocacy, resources and information to help solve problems and improve the quality of life.
MSCC is provided by qualified service coordinators and uses a person-centered planning process in developing, implementing and maintaining an Individualized Service Plan.
